Laurence Vallieres, 

A Montreal-based sculptor, known for my large-scale animal sculptures made from recycled cardboard and other eco-friendly materials.

Born in Quebec City, Laurence Vallières has always had a keen interest in the arts, a passion passed down through her family. After studying visual arts in college, she continued her academic studies at Concordia University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in ceramics.

After graduating, inspired by street art, Laurence began working with cardboard. Using this affordable and widely available material, Laurence quickly began creating large-scale works, both at home in Montreal and around the world. From the Americas to Asia, via Europe, this Quebec artist never ceases to impress wherever she goes.
