Tom made a series of miniature paddles as promotional items for the launch of the canoe paddles. These were proclaimed by his mother as \"naj bolje za kuhati\" (“perfect for cooking” in Croatian). These first paddles therefore became the Pot Scoop - the first wooden spoon designed specifically not to split.
